Baroka secure Rethabile deal

Cape Town - Baroka FC have confirmed that Soso Rethabile will be part of their first-team squad for the 2015/16 Premiership campaign.

Rethabile was involved in a major contractual dispute between Free State Stars and the newly promoted side but after months of deliberation, Ea Lla Koto have agreed to end the battle for the 23-year-old's services.

Bakgaga chief executive Morgan Mamilla is thrilled that they've managed to keep hold of the striker and promised the supporters will see him in action soon.

"You'll see this boy, there was a matter between us and Free State Stars about the player but they've decided to let us have him. Free State Stars have withdrawn from the case," he told KickOff website.

"Our supporters might see him very soon. He is from Manco Milan FC, who are campaigning in the Free State ABC Motsepe League."

Rethabile will have a chance to make his top-flight debut when Kgokolo Thobejane's side take on fellow newcomers Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium on Tuesday.
