Baroka FC ensures safety ahead of Chiefs clash

Cape Town - Baroka FC confirmed that they have taken the necessary steps to ensure fans and players safety ahead of their clash against Kaizer Chiefs.

"Baroka FC will host Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday 18 March 2017 at Peter Mokaba Stadium," the statement read.

"The game is scheduled for 20:15; gates will open at 15:30. With a lot of razzmatazz at the stadium, supporters are requested to come early for the game to reduce the congestion towards kick-off, the team assembled by the technical team through the support of management is ready to give the supporters money worth game.

"All stakeholder have been involved in preparing for this big game, security in and out of the stadium is arranged to make it the point that supporters are safe, health personnel will be deployed around the stadium in case of emergency.

"Refreshment cubicles will be open as from 15:30. The two teams played well over the past weekend, so we anticipate a large crowd, Branches of both teams will help supporters to reach the stadium through their structured.

"We have organised benefits of schools who come in numbers to cheer the club. This arrangement will be done by school themselves to be part of the event through the marketing department of the club.

"There will be a full programme throughout the day including the launching of benefit structures of supporters on the day."
