Aucho delighted with Baroka switch

Cape Town - Former Gor Mahia midfielder Khalid Aucho expressed excitement after completing his move to newly-promoted Baroka FC in the Premiership.

Aucho has been in impressive form of late, culminating in him picking up the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Month award for May.

The 23-year-old has penned a three-year deal and took to social media to confirm his departure from the Kenyan champions.

"Done deal. Thank God my new home is Baroka FC South Africa. Thank you to all coaches who have brought me up," Aucho said.

"To all the team that I have gone through, Jinja, Simba SC, Tusker FC and Gor Mahia special thanks to them, my teammates the management and all the fans.

"Thanks to Uganda Cranes, thanks to Fufa and to my agent Geofrey Kayemba for all the efforts I want to thank everyone. I want to take the new challenge at my new home Baroka FC."
