Arrows ready to hit the ground running in Absa Prem campaign

Cape Town - Golden Arrows defender Divine Lunga believes the result of their opening Absa Premiership encounter against rivals Maritzburg United on Sunday could set the tone for the rest of the season.

Abafana Bes'thende have a good record in recent in the games against the Team of Choice having no lost to them since 2012.

Arrows will go into the clash with confidence having lifted the Premier Cup last weekend which is a pre-season tournament for all KZN teams and Lunga is looking forward to the start of the league season.

"Winning the Premier’s Cup has given us more confidence going into the game against Maritzburg United," said Lunga in quotes published by the IOL website.

"It is key that we have a positive result because it sets the tone for the rest of the season.

"We are at home and we have to show that we are the hosts by winning the game."
