Arrows poised to complete Pelembe deal

Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has revealed that the club is close to completing the deal for Helder Pelembe from Orlando Pirates.

The Mozambique international attacker has been training with Arrows for the last two weeks and featured for Arrows during the pre-season Uthungula Mayoral Cup at the weekend.

Larsen had worked with Pelembe last season during their time together at Bloemfontein Celtic.

"It should be (done) and we are positive we can secure him," Larsen told KickOff.

"He only came a few days ago and he's not fit. Of course we're not expecting too much of him because his match fitness is way below everybody else but these type of games improve your match fitness.

"He's a quality player and he's a Mozambican international and I have worked with him before, and yes good professional.

"I think he will also give (Sbusiso) Sibeko as well as (Lerato) Lamola some competition in that (striking) department."
