AmaZulu extend deal of Siyethemba Sithebe

Cape Town - AmaZulu have confirmed that key midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe has penned a new deal with Usuthu until 2022.

Sithebe put pen to paper on a three-year renewal following a solid season in the colours of the Durban-based outfit.

The 26-year-old joined the club from Mbombela United in the National First Division and has featured regularly since the 2016/17 campaign.

In 2018/19 he made 30 appearances in all competitions while scoring two goals and recording four assists.

As such, it seems AmaZulu management moved quickly to ensure his future remained with the team in case any other Premiership outfits came sniffing.

In other team news, Tshepo Gumede also had his contract extended by another two years after he signed for the side as a free agent in the previous January transfer window.
