Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that two of their players have joined Moroka Swallows (who are still known as Maccabi FC this season) on loan for the remainder of the season.
Itumeleng Shopane, 22, and Ayanda Rorwana, 21, have already linked up with the Dube Birds, who are coached by Zeca Marques and will compete in the National First Division.
A statement on the Chiefs website said: "Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the move of the duo of Ayanda Rorwana and Itumeleng Shopane to Maccabi FC (Moroka Swallows FC).
"Rorwana (21) and Shopane (22) joined the National First Division side last week for training and will play for them in the new season. Moroka Swallows have bought the status of Maccabi and are waiting for the PSL to process their name-change.
"Rorwana was still in the Reserve Team playing in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge while Shopane was promoted to the First Team."
