Amakhosi lose Lebese for 6 weeks

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have revealed that George Lebese will be out of action for at least six weeks after suffering a stress fracture to his back.

The 27-year-old winger's absence is a blow to Amakhosi who are struggling with a number of injuries to key players.

Chiefs coach Steve Komphela revealed his concerns.

He told the club's official website: "We have a number of injury concerns in the team."

William Twala, recently recovered from an ankle injury before picking up a calf injury while Michelle Katsvairo has a contusion to his chest. 

Komphela added: "I will seek advice from the medical department before making a decision on Michelle."

Other injury absentees include Enocent Mkhabela, Edward Manqele and Tsepo Masilela, but Willard Katsande and Sibusiso Khumalo have returned from suspension.
