Ajax promotes seven juniors

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa has confirmed the promotion of seven young players from the club's development ranks.

The youthful Urban Warriors have a long-standing tradition of being a Premiership club with one of the best academies in the country.

Ajax will be looking to build on their success from last season after clinching the MTN8 title.

"We also welcome the recently promoted players Darren Johnson, Sergio Kammies, Shane Saralina, Grant Margeman, Masilake Phohlongo, Luthando Matheza and Mogamat May to the PSL squad and wish them the best of luck for the season ahead," the club said in a statement on their website.

Ajax have also bolstered their squad with the signings of Mich D'Avray, Eric Chipeta and Joaquim Lupeta.
