Ajax confirm Arrows fixture date

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town will face Golden Arrows away on Wednesday, January 13 and 16 days later; Arrows will then travel to Cape Town for the home match on January 29.

According to the club's website, the Urban Warriors had to postpone two League fixtures against Platinum Stars and Golden Arrows, originally scheduled in October 2015 but had to be shifted due to the passing of Cecil Lolo.

The AFCON Under-23 tournament, Fifa and Christmas breaks as well as a busy fixture schedule has hampered efforts in finding a new date for these fixtures, but now one of the two fixture dates, have been confirmed.

A date for the Platinum Stars catch-up match is yet to be finalised, however, the PSL and the clubs are still in discussions on getting this matter finalised.

For now though, Ajax focus will be sternly on facing Bloemfontein Celtic on Friday, January 8 at Cape Town Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
