Ajax Cape Town injury update

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that Legogang Mokoena and Nathan Paulse face some time on the sidelines after the club conducted scans on the pair.

"The biggest casualty is Nathan Paulse, who had a mild concussion as well as a fracture to his zygomatic bone, which is his cheek bone on his left side," Head of Medical Jantho Greyling said on the club's website.

"He will probably need surgery for that, but we'll have to confirm after the CT scan."

"The only other concern is Lebogang Mokoena, he picked up a mild hamstring strain. He will get reassessed to check the severity of the injury," he concluded.

The two will be unavailable for the Urban Warriors when they face SuperSport United in Telkom Knockout Cup tie.

The Cape side outfit will look to end a five-game winless streak in the league.
