Agent hints at January move for Maluleka amid Rangers links

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka's agent has refused to rule out a move for his client in the January transfer window amid links with Scottish giants Rangers.

According to SunSport, Steven Gerrard's Rangers are keeping close tabs on the 30-year-old midfielder.

And Sean Roberts, Maluleka's agent, added fuel to the fire when he said it is a 'delicate situation'.

"It's a delicate situation at the moment. Call me in the new year and we can have a proper conversation," Roberts told Goal.

"At the moment, George is happy at Kaizer Chiefs and obviously playing well and is a regular.

"I think we can sort of have a conversation properly in the new year."

Maluleka's contract expires at the end of the season, which could see him leave for free.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
