Abondo: Signing for Ajax a dream

Cape Town - Victor Ali Abondo believes he has signed for one of South Africa's best clubs after penning a two-year deal with Ajax Cape Town.

The signing was confirmed last week, Abondo having spent time on trial with the Cape side earlier this year where he impressed head coach Roger De Sa.

"It’s a good feeling to finally sign for Ajax Cape Town. This is what I’ve always dreamt of," he was quoted as saying to SuperSport.

"I consider Ajax as one of the best club’s in the PSL. Even in Kenya, people know Ajax Cape Town and rate the club highly.

"I will work hard to make my stay here successful. I’ve worked hard on my capabilities, so it’s time for me to take the next step in my career. For me, this is a big challenge and I will give it my all," added the 26-year-old former Gor Mahia, SoNy Sugar and Tusker player.
