Pretoria - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu intends to improve his game when the season kicks off this weekend.
Sundowns will kickoff their season in the MTN8 quarter-final against the title holders, Platinum Stars, at Loftus Versveld on Saturday afternoon.
The Bafana Bafana man believes that only hard work will help him cement his place in the Brazilians starting line up throughout the upcoming campaign.
'Ben10' also revealed that his ambition is to feature for the national team under new coach Shakes Mashaba.
"I have to work hard as a player," said Zungu.
"I have to play regularly.
"It’s not going to be an easy task as we have a lot of quality players in the team.
"I believe in continuity but I will also work hard to earn my place in the team.
"And I will also do my best to impress the new Bafana Bafana coach."
Sundowns will be looking to continue where they left off last season when they take on the North West Tycoons.
History favours Dikwena going into this encounter as they won all three games against them last season.
The match will start at 15:30.
