Zulu: We will win the league

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs recruit David Zulu has absolutely no doubt in his mind that Amakhosi will win the Premiership this season, even though he has yet to play a competitive match for the club.

Zulu, who was on the bench during the club friendly match against Hoffenheim on Friday, had ample opportunity to assess the squad from the sidelines and he is more convinced than ever that the league title is Chiefs’ to lose.

"It's up to us now to keep on winning our games. We are on the right track - we will win it," Zulu told journalists.

The striker does admit that he would have liked to play against Friday’s German opponents. However, he is by no means perturbed by his exclusion from proceedings and is certainly comfortable with his new surroundings.

"I was looking forward to my first start with the team. I feel okay, I was well welcomed at the team and I feel very at home now," added Zulu.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
