Zongo gets fresh Dikwena deal

Cape Town - Masibusane Zongo has inked a new two-year deal with Platinum Stars after impressing coach Cavin Johnson pre-season.

The once troubled star has won over Johnson after having a hard-time under previous coach Allan Freese.

Having initially joined on a six-month deal in January, the 25-year-old's stay at the club has been extended.

"Coach Cavin Johnson has played a big role for Zongo to secure his contract. It's up to him to grab the opportunity," an unamed source told KickOff.

"He has signed a two-year contract with us."
