Young Mayambela off to Holland

Cape Town - After his good showing during the Metropolitan Bayhill Cup earlier this year in Cape Town, young Mohlali Mabhuti Mayambela has attracted interest from Europe.

Reports suggest that an undisclosed team in Holland are after the younger brother of former Orlando Pirates star, Mark Mayambela, and want to give him a chance to make a name for himself.

A source close to the player spoke to Sport24 and said that he is expected to jet out of the country any time soon.

Richard Makhoba, who is close to the player and is also the manager of NFD side Royal Eagles where his brother Mark now plays, was at hand to confirm the news:

"Yes I can tell you that there are teams in Holland interested in the young Mayambela,” he said.

“I am not at liberty to disclose the names of the team right now but what I can tell you is that he will be going for trials in Holland very soon during the off season," Makhoba concluded.
