Wits target Tanzanian midfielder

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits are reported to have invited a 22-year-old Tanzanian midfielder to attend a two week trial period at the Braamfontein-based club.

Jonas Mkude, who currently plays for Simba Sports Club in Dar es Salaam, will arrive in Johannesburg on Friday, June 26.

Simba Sport Club’s president, Evans Aveva, wished the player luck according to soka25east.com.

“Simba SC wishes Mkude the very best in the trials at Bidvest Wits in South Africa and this should be an eye opener for others,” said Aveva.

Mkude recognised that he will be representing both his club and country in his efforts to secure a deal with the Clever Boys.
