Johannesburg - Gavin Hunt has revealed one crucial tactic ahead of the much anticipated MTN8 semi-final clash against Orlando Pirates.

Speaking at Bidvest Wits’ media open day the Bidvest Wits coach added that despite their PSL midweek win over Maritzburg United they still lack scoring more goals which must change in order to overcome a 2-0 aggregate against Pirates.

“Last night we could have won by 5 or 6 but scoring is still a problem,” said Hunt via the PSL official Twitter account.

“Pirates have a 2 goal advantage but if we score 1st the match will change.”

“I played Kaizer Chiefs a couple of years ago and they were leading 2 - 0. I won the 2nd Leg 3 - 0. Anything is possible, said a confident Hunt.

The former SuperSport United coach admits that his team will get better with time and is looking for the right combinations.

“We need a positive mind frame. We just need to score 1st.”

“My team will get better with time.”

“Pirates is a cup final team. My team is a league team.”

“Anyone can name the Pirates & Chiefs starting XI from the top of the head. I'm still looking for a right combination.”

And with CAF Confederations Cup to participate in this year as well Hunt is eager to see the improvement of his players as he has seen it happen with The Buccaneers.

“I need to take my players to Africa. Look at how good & strong the Pirates players have become.”

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 20:15 on Saturday, August 23.
