We deserved the win - Jele

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates beat AC Leopards 1-0 on Saturday in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage game, and defender Happy Jele score the only goal of the game.

On arrival in Johannesburg on Monday Jele told Sport24 that it was great to score the all-important goal, and win the game.

Jele said that above all the most important thing for them was that they won as a team.

"It's always good to score for the team," Jele said.

“It felt great to score that goal and we won the game.

“As a team we did very well and we deserved the win.

“We fought hard and we won as a team. It wasn't easy at all but we did it.”

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
