We are prepared - Baxter

Johannesburg - Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has expressed optimism ahead of his side taking on Platinum Stars in their PSL clash at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

"Last season we dominated from the word go. We occupied the top spot from the word go which is a rare situation in modern football," Baxter told his club's official website.

"As things stand we are not repeating that because the other teams have woken up to the challenge and everyone has prepared so that they don't allow the repeat of the last season.

"I know I am capable and have a squad that is able to compete in the league. And where we are at the moment doesn't say where we will end up at the end of the season.

"We are prepared and we will keep on fighting until the last match of the season."
