We are not strong enough for PSL - Dlamini

Cape Town - Cosmos assistant coach, Siza Dlamini, spoke honestly to Sport24 about the prospects that await Ezenkosi in the PSL, saying that his side is not yet strong enough.

Siza Dlamini was honest about the need to beef up the squad in order to compete in the PSL.

“I would be lying to you if I would say this team is strong enough to compete in the PSL,” Dlamini confessed.

Jomo Sono and his staff will get straight back to work on looking to improve on what they have.

“We are still gonna sit down as a technical team. We are looking at the COSAFA games and we are eyeing certain players. I can’t mention their names at the moment but they are players that you will see are coming to boost the team which are international players."

Dlamini spoke about learning from their relegation a few seasons back and the need to do everything it takes to remain in the PSL.

“Last time (when we won promotion) we didn’t reinforce the team from the guys that promoted the team. That caused us to lose PSL status. I don’t think we will make the same mistake because some of these boys they’ve been playing well but I still doubt if they can maintain the pressure.”

“We will keep everybody but add to what we have at the moment.”
