Vilane, Zwane forced out of Aces?

Cape Town - It seems that Mpumalanga Black Aces are not in a rush to make a decision on the futures of recent recruits, Dumisane Zwane & Siyabonga Vilane.

Both players joined the relegation-threatened club at the beginning of the year but it seems that they have not made a big enough impact to get the higher-ups to move with any haste to secure their services.

The Mbombela-based club managed to avoid relegation this season and one would have expected them to be working fast to make sure they hung onto the players that they think will be valuable assets for the club next season.

A source close to the club apparently revealed the nature of their contract situations to Soccer Laduma.

“Zwane and Vilane signed short-term deals with one-year options when they joined Mpumalanga Black Aces. Their options have not yet been exercised by the club,” the source is reported to have said.

The midfielder joined the club on a short-term agreement as a free agent after having previously played for Chippa United.

Vilane was an Amazulu player up until the mid-point of the 2012/13 season before he moved to Thailand to play for RBAC, scoring 15 goals in 20 games.
