The Clever Boys are rumoured to have placed a R15-million price tag on the midfielder, who was one of Bafana Bafana's standout performers at the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
And while local club Kaizer Chiefs are said to be interested in his services, Wits have apparently stated they will not entertain any domestic offers, but say they will allow the current PSL Player of the Season to consider overseas offers.
"We are not aware of any price tags and Wits haven't told us about anything regarding the player's transfer fee," Vilakazi's agent, Alban Newman, told goal.com.
"Look, we have been given permission to talk to overseas clubs about Sbu. As for interest from local clubs, there's nothing concrete.
"So our guys in Europe are busy trying to facilitate a move abroad for Sbu. That's all we can say at the moment."
