Vasco da Gama stun Leopards

Cape Town - Vasco da Gama have booked their spot in the semi-final of the Nedbank Cup after beating Black Leopards 3-2 in extra time on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou.

Leopards went ahead in the 15th minute courtesy of a free-kick from Roggert Nyundu, however the Cape side levelled matters in the 70th minute when Wandisile Mdabuka blasted home from 12-yards.

The match went into extra-time and Leopards got ahead in the 100th minute with a strike from Morgan Shivambu.

Vasco levelled matters before the end of the first half of extra-time thanks to a goal by Zeka Karkee.

The Cape side secured their place into the semi-finals when Mbulelo Wambi scored from a free-kick to end the match 3-2.
