Cape Town - AmaZulu defender Marc Van Heerden believes that their PSL status will help them conquer Golden Arrows in the Nedbank Cup.

Speaking to the clubs official website, Van Heerden reckons that the experience they have will show against Abafana Bes'thende.

“It will not be an easy match but the fact is we are still a PSL club and the experience that we have shall be revealed in this match,” said Van Heerden.

“We are prepared to do well in the match because it can reflect well on the league matches as well.”

Going to the game against Arrows Van Heerden said the most important thing is to stay focused and push for victory.

“Arrows are a good side, they are doing well in NFD and they are in good form.

“They have been in the PSL before and so they know what to expect playing against us, but that does not mean they will walk away victorious,” he said.

Kick-off is 20:00 on Friday, February 20 at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
