Cape Town - University of Pretoria could give former Bloemfontein Celtic winger, Joel Mogorosi, a PSL lifeline if he impresses Sammy Troughton.
Troughton confirmed that the Botswana international is on trial at Tuks and a decision on his future with the team will be taken by the end of the week.
Mogorosi played for the team in the semi-final match of Charity Showdown coming in as a second half substitute in the 0-2 loss to Mamelodi Sundows.
“Look, Joel just came in to train with us but nothing has been finalised so far. We will have the answer by the end of the week,” Troughton said.
“We will assess him during the week to see his situation. We know that Joel played his best at Celtic over the years and seemed to have lost it recently. So will make an assessment and take it from there”
The winger was released by Celtic along with countryman Mogogi Gabonamong, and Zambian Davies Nkausu.
