Tsutsulupa full of optimism

Cape Town - Moroka Swallows midfielder Lefa Tsutsulupa said his teammates would carry themselves with distinction when the Premiership season resumes in February.

Swallows produced a rather ghastly first half to their season in 2014 and as a result, they currently find themselves languishing in 13th position in the Premiership standings, having accumulated just 19 points during the campaign.

However, Tsutsulupa is confident there will be a reversal of fortunes this year and expects Swallows to counter adversity and soar during the remainder of this campaign.

"Moroka Swallows will forget about the woes of 2014 and fly high in 2015 when the league resumes in February," Tsutsulupa told Soccer Laduma.

"It’s a new year with new beginnings. We want to forget about 2014 and build on what the new year has to offer. For us we see this as a new slate for a fresh start.

"I know it’s tough to remain optimistic but look at the last game we played against AmaZulu and this is something we can definitely take into 2015."
