Tower not leaving - Chiefs

Cape Town - Following the confirmation of a number of high-profile exits from the Naturena, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Mulomowandau "Tower" Mathoho will not be leaving the PSL champions.

“Tower is a highly valuable member of the team and will be staying at the club. He still has two years left on his contract,” said the club's chairman, Kaizer Motaung, on Tuesday.

The club reiterated that Mathoho "remains key to Amakhosi’s future plans" before declaring that Tower "will not be going anywhere as the club has not been approached for his services".

The 25-year-old defender was a regular fixture in the heart of Chiefs' defence alongside departing captain Tefu Mashamaite.

Mathoho has two years left on his current deal with the Glamour Boys.
