Tom expects Black Aces exit

Cape Town - Mzivukile Tom is unlikely to be a Mpumalanga Black Aces player for much longer after he revealed the club is yet to offer him a contract renewal.

The defender's contract expires at the end of this month and the club is yet to approach him or his representatives with a new deal and he doesn't expect one before his current contract comes to an end.

Tom revealed he only signed a one-year deal when he joined the club at the beginning of last season and is fully aware of what the club's silence signifies.

"I had a straight one-year deal with Aces with no option whatsoever and it expires at the end of the season," he told KickOff.

"Up to now I still haven't heard anything from the club about any possible contract renewal and I think I know what that means.

"I will know which club I will be joining next once I have met my representatives next week," he concluded.

The news will not come as a particularly big shock to Amazayoni fans as the 33-year-old spent most of last season on the bench.
