Tinkler talks up Pirates' chances

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler insists his side will be a force to be reckoned with in the new season.

Tinkler said that though Pirates are playing in Africa and have very little time to rest, they have enough players to cover when needed.

Barring injuries, Pirates will be a dangerous team, the coach insisted.

"If they are all fit we will be having headaches selecting the team which is good because it means we have a strong squad and a team to reckon with," Tinkler told Sport24.

"With the way we are playing we need to have such a squad because we have a lot to play for both locally and in Africa.

"The players know what is expected of them and that makes the team very dangerous because everyone wants to prove his worth."
