Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admits he was delighted with the way his side
responded against Platinum Stars following Wednesday's pulsating 3-3 draw.

The Buccaneers found themselves trailing on three occasions
at the Orlando Stadium, with Mpho Makola, Oupa Manyisa and Issa Sarr all
responding to Mogakolodi Ngele's hat-trick for Dikwena.
Pirates also had a chance to snatch a win in the dying
moments but saw Lehlohonolo Majoro miss a decent chance, although Tinkler was
still proud of the battling performance put in by his men.
"They came at us in the first half, and we didn't match
them," says Tinkler.
"But the second half was an improvement."
Speaking of Ngele's threat, the coach added: "Again we
allow Ngele that space to run at us and we don't close him down.
"We know he's a talented young boy and he got a great
shot away to get his third, and then we had to fight and get ourselves back
into the game again."
The boss was, however, thrilled with his side's response,
saying: "We got that late equaliser from Issa [Sarr], and possibly could
have stolen it right at the end with Majoro, but the fighting spirit is there
and I think everyone can see that.
