Orlando Pirates host the Mamelodi Sundowns in their crunch PSL clash at the Orlando Stadium tonight.

Heading into this encounter, the Buccaneers are coming from a 2-0 loss to their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, while the defending PSL champions head into the game with some good form following their comfortable 2-0 win over Free State Stars.

Tinkler told Sport24, in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, that his charges were disappointed to leave the FNB Stadium empty handed at the weekend but have worked hard in training to rectify their mistakes ahead of the clash between two giants in the PSL.

“Our preparations for tonight’s game went accordingly.” Tinkler told Sport24.

“Obviously we were disappointed after losing to Chiefs over the weekend.

“We sat down and looked at our mistakes during our training sessions and then we did everything to rectify them.

“Now our players are looking forward to the game against Sundowns and we are ready to face them.

“But I’m not going to reveal our game plans but we have planned very well for this game.

“There will be some changes but not too many.”

The much-anticipated clash is set to kick-off at 19:30.
