Tinkler after points in Bloem

Cape Town - Eric Tinkler wants all three points when Orlando Pirates face Bloemfontein Celtic on  Wednesday evening.

Tinkler told Sport24 that their progress in the African tournament is ensuring that their schedule has become jam-packed.

Orlando Pirates have now ensured qualification for the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup and now turn their attention to Wednesday's visit to face Bloemfontein Celtic in a league encounter.

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder said that the players are holding on very well under the circumstances.

"Things are becoming tighter for us," Tinkler said.

“We are getting fixtures almost three days in a week.

“That's a tight schedule but the players are holding on very well and that's why we are getting positive results.

“We are going to Celtic to get another positive result and all that is because the players and everyone in the team is dedicated to performing well.”

Bloemfontein Celtic host Orlando Pirates at the Free State Stadium on Wednesday.

The match kicks off at 19:30.
