Cape Town - Orlando Pirates assistant coach Eric Tinkler reveals that the Buccaneers fringe players will get game time in upcoming friendlies.

Speaking to the club's website, Tinkler confirms that with the FIFA international the Sea Robbers will have number of friendly games to keep players match fitness sharp.
“Coach VV (Vladimir Vermezovic) and the rest of us in the technical team feel that the friendly matches will do the trick for us,” said Tinkler.
“It’s very important to keep the players match sharp during breaks like these.”
“During the last break we mainly focused on keeping the players fitness levels up, and now in addition to that we have arranged for a number of friendly matches aimed at keeping the player’s confidence up as well as give the fringe players some much needed game time.”
Tinkler also welcomes back the prospect of having a full bill of health as Lucky Lekgwathi and Siyabonga Sangweni returned to training.
“We have an injury free squad, the whole team is healthy.”
“Lucky Lekgwathi was out for a week with a bout of flu but he resumed training this past Monday and Siya (Sangweni) had a pink eye infection, he was out for four days and he resumed training yesterday.”
The Sea Robbers next match will be again Free State Stars at Orlando Stadium with the match scheduled for a 20:15 kick-off.
