Time running out for Khumalo's Spurs exit

Cape Town - Time is running out for former Bafana Bafana captain Bongani Khumalo to leave White Hart Lane.

Bongani Khumalo has until November 27 to secure a loan move away from Tottenham Hotspur and ensure that he makes a playing return this year following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, according to Soccer Laduma.

Since joining Spurs in 2011, Khumalo has been loaned out to Preston North End, Reading, PAOK (Greece) and Doncaster Rovers.

The 27-year-old defender has not yet made his debut for the Spurs senior side and is not expected to feature in coach Mauricio Pochettino's plans should he stay at the club this season.

Khumalo is now finally making his way back to full fitness following a knee injury which forced him to onto the sidelines since January this year.

Khumalo now has until the end of November to find a club or he will be forced to wait until the January transfer window opens on January 1.
