Sundowns player Elias Pelembe pounced on a loose ball after a blunder by Celtic defender, Wandisile Letlabika.

In response, Tignyemb lost his temper, repeatedly shoving Letlabika before the match officials urged him to calm down.

According to Soccer Laduma, Davids admits that he understands Tignyemb’s frustrations but his reactions are uncalled for.

“It's extremely disappointing to concede a goal like that,” said Davids.

“It is the emotion of conceding a goal like that, you can understand the player’s frustration, like Patrick’s, but it shouldn’t happen.

“We will have a stern talk to him.”
