According to Soccer Laduma, the Pirates coach says that he has the full backing of Dr. Irvin Khoza along with his players.
“I have been with the club now for four years since joining in 2012,” said Tinkler.
“There is trust from the management as well as from the players. In turn this gives me the confidence as I know I have the backing of the Chairman and my players.”
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder admits that things got tough at the end of last season but their faith and trust kept the squad intact.
Tinkler says that he looks forward to being in charge of the side when the season starts as he looks to add silverware to Parktown's trophy cabinets.
“Next season will be an important one for us. For me personally I will have the opportunity to start the season with my players and I’m looking forward to that.”
