Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs are hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2014/15 PSL season and Sport24 brings you all the latest Chiefs news. 

Kaizer Chiefs held a press conference on Wednesday and there is a lot happening at the club ahead of the new season. 

Here are FIVE latest stories you need to know about: 

1. Tshabalala ruled out for 14 days
.

After being carried off during Chiefs' 4-2 win over Chippa United, Siphiwe Tshabala has been ruled out for 14 days with a knee injury. He will miss the Carling Black Label Cup and the MTN8 clash against Mpumalanga Black Aces.

2. Jimmy Jambo retires.

At the tender age of 26, defender Jimmy Jambo has decided to hang up his boots. The defender has been battling injuries for some time, the player has made the decision to end his playing career.

Sport24 wish him well with his future endeavours. 

3. Baxter still linked with Bafana role. 

The @OfficialPSLTwitter account had this to tweet about Baxter's link:

"Stuart Baxter just said that it's just speculation. We have not had an offer from @SAFA_net for our coach." - Bobby Motaung.

"Speculation picks up speed & gets ahead of people. At this moment in time, I'm the Kaizer Chiefs coach." - Stuart Baxter. 

4. All the latest on the Glamour Boys transfer news

Chiefs are hoping to finalise a move for Knowledge Musona by next week. 

Ovidy Karuru is still training with the side and is being considered for a transfer by team management. 

Francis Kone is linking up with the squad today, ahead of a trial with the club. Kickoff.com have confirmed this move and the Togolese international is hoping to impress Baxter while he trains at the Naturena. 

5. New boys on the block. 

Five players have been added to the Amakhosi roster ahead of the new PSL season, they include three players who have been promoted from the team's development programme.
