'Terror' searching for a club

Cape Town - Thembinkosi 'Terror' Fanteni is still on the search for a club, but remains confident he will return to the PSL in the upcoming season.

The former Ajax Cape Town striker who last played for Israeli side, Maccabi Haifa, has been out of action for nearly a year after he warmed the bench for Gavin Hunt’s side, Bidvest Wits.

He has since been training with a local township side after unsuccessful trial stints with AmaZulu, Bloemfontein Celtic, Ajax Cape Town and Chippa United.

“At the moment I’m not training with any professional sides. I’m training with a local township side and that’s how I keep fit. I’m still hoping to find a team. My career is far from finished,” he told the Soccer Laduma.

Terror has made 21 appearances for Bafana Bafana and was part of the 2008 African Nations Cup and the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup team.
