Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise insist the Chloorkop side are "going for the kill" in the Nedbank Cup semi-final.

Modise reveals that he is excited to play in the next round following a convincing 2-0 victory over Mpumalanga Black Aces.

“Yes we played well and deserved the win. Now we are in the semi-finals and it is exciting. This means we have the chance to get to the final and win it all,” Modise said on his official website.

“We have drawn Vasco Da Gama. They are a formidable team. If they were not, they wouldn’t have made it this far.

“A lot of teams are out of the competition and they are not. So they will not receive any special treatment. We are going for the kill,” concluded Modise.

Meanwhile Sundowns will target three Absa Premiership points when they welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday, April 15, for an Absa Premiership tie

Kick-off is at 19:30.
