Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs captain Tefu Mashamaite is expecting "a tough one" when the side travel to SuperSport United in the PSL on Tuesday evening.

Amakhosi remain undefeated after 19 matches in the league this season, although they were held to a goalless draw against Bloemfontein Celtic last week in what was their first match back after the two-month Africa Cup of Nations break.

The Glamour Boys remain red-hot favourites to win back the PSL crown they lost to Mamelodi Sundowns last term as they sit 13 points clear at the top of the standings, but Mashamaite, who was handed the skipper's armband this year, knows they will need to be at their best if they are to down Matsatsantsa in their own backyard this week.

"It will be a tough one,” he told Chiefs' official website.

"There are no easy games against SuperSport United. Besides that, we need to get our act together.

"However, if we play with consistency, I am confident that we can get a result."

Chiefs enter the Peter Mokaba Stadium encounter on the back of their 2-1 CAF Champions League win over Township Rollers on Saturday, where Mashamaite secured a late first-leg victory after heading home from a free-kick.
