Cape Town - Tefu Mashamaite is expected to pen an extension to his contract at runaway league leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Bidvest Wits centre-back’s contract with AmaKhosi is set to expire in June 2015.
But according to the goal.com website, the 30-year-old is poised to sign a new deal which will see him staying at Chiefs until 2017.
"He's done well for the club and for himself,” said an unnamed source.
“So, he will be rewarded accordingly. Everything should be finalised by next week.
“It looks like it'll be a two-year deal.”
