Cape Town - Mamelodi
Sundowns midfielder Percy Tau is quite content with his current circumstances,
despite playing very little football for the first team this season.

The 20-year-old Tau did not feature prominently for Bafana
Ba Style last season either, as he made just one appearance throughout the
campaign. This term, the only fixture he has taken part in was the 1-1 draw
against Maritzburg United in 2014.
There has been tremendous speculation about his future at
the club this year but Tau refuses to be drawn into that.
"I’m not disappointed with my lack of game-time,
because I think the guys are doing very well," Tau told KickOff.
Sundowns are still in contention for the Premiership title
and indications are that Pitso Mosimane will not compromise on the quality of
his squad at such a critical stage in the season.
Tau has accepted that and is still more than willing to
contribute in whatever way he can during the current Premiership campaign.
"They are putting in a lot of work so it can’t be
always about you. It’s not about me right now, it is about the team," said
Tau, who is also more than prepared to bide his time.
"The team is doing well and I just have to support the
guys. I have a contract with Sundowns and I will honour it.
“When I signed for Sundowns I knew there would be ups and
downs. If the team wants to loan me out, that’s their call to make. I will
honour the contract," added Tau.
