Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town travel to Dobsonville Stadium this week to face Moroka Swallows who find themselves at the wrong end of the PSL table.
Swallows have done very well to score 16 goals in their opening 12 league matches, however, conceding 23 goals in the process means that all of their hard work have been undone by their defensive woes.
According to Ajax’s official website, since the departure of Zeca Marques, interim coach Fani Madida has done exceptionally well with the team to try and turn their fortunes around. However, Roger De Sa is well aware of the areas the Dube Birds have been struggling in.
“They have exciting players who attack very well, but they also leak a lot of goals at the back,” said De Sa.
Following clean sheets against both Maritzburg United as well as Bloemfontein Celtic, De Sa feels that his men have made strides after a string of inconsistent results.
“We’ve kept two clean sheets in a row now, so we need to continue with that and try to get some more goals.
“We’ve improved the areas we needed to, so we have to keep building and keep improving,” concluded De Sa.
Moroka Swallows and Ajax Cape Town go head-to-head on Wednesday at 19:30.
