Letsoaka, who joined Matsatsantsa in September 2014 as Gordon Igesund’s assistant, has expressed his desire to expand his horizons by taking the opportunity presented to him by Arrows.
SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews said, “We wish Serame all the best in his new position. We are very pleased that a coach from our stable, even though he was with us for such a short time, has been given the opportunity to become a head coach.”
“We would have preferred he and Gordon continue on what they started last season, by winning the Telkom Knockout and building on that this coming season but we would not have wanted to stand in his way despite him still being contractually bound to us for another season with further options of renewal.”
“We have demonstrated before with other coaches such as Pitso Mosimane and the late Thomas Madigage (both of whom were released to join the National team as assistant coaches) that we will not stand in the way of staff members who want to seek out new challenges.”
“We wish him well at Golden Arrows and have already commenced the process of replacing him.”
