SuperSport unveil new away kit - PIC

Cape Town - SuperSport United officially launched their new away kit for the upcoming Premier Soccer League season.

The new Kappa gear for the 2015/16 season was revealed at The Multi Choice Headquarters in Randburg.

The away strip which saw Matsatsantsa move away from their traditional white playing attire was unveiled by Matsatsantsa’s trio of new recruits of Michael Boxall, Phumelelo Bhengu and Grant Kekana.

The shirt is all grey with a red trim on both shoulders and the ends of the sleeves. The trimming is also found at the bottom of the shorts.

“We are extremely excited to reveal this brand new colour way design for Supersport United Football Club," said Ricky Joseph from Kappa.

"We wanted to introduce something completely new and fresh for the coming season and I think we have definitely achieved that.

"While of course once again delivering the highest of standards from a technical aspect, the Kappa brand believes we have once again assisted our Partners to have that edge in terms of appearance on and off the field, over all their opposition.”

Matsatsantsa will parade their new away strip in their Absa Premiership match against MP Black Aces at the Mbombela stadium on Saturday, August 22.

"We are delighted with the new look kit," said the club's CEO, Stan Matthews, with the unusual style taken by Kappa.

"Having worked hard on the design with input from the club and Kappa to give a design that we feel is befitting of our status as a major player in the Premier Soccer League.

"As the club embarks on the next exciting phase, we feel we have a fantastic looking kit and are very grateful to our sponsors, Kappa, for their continued support."
