Pirates have lost two of their last three league matches, with their last outing a 2-1 defeat away to Black Aces last month.

The Soweto side has claimed seven points from five away matches this season. The Buccaneers are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership log with 14 points from nine matches.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Pirates have met in 46 league matches since 1990.
