According to KickOff.com, Igesund is set to take charge of Matsastansta for the remainder of the 2014/15 season before Ruud Krol takes over next season.

United have parted ways with Cavin Johnson after a disappointing start to the season.

SuperSport, who have already lost four of their five PSL games, are struggling in their quest to better last season’s fifth place finish and their hopes of doing are diminishing.

It has not yet been revealed as to why Igesund will only be at United for the remainder of the season.

“It’s already done." said anonymous source.

“They’ve met with [Ruud] Krol as well, but they’ve decided to wait until next season to appoint him,” Kickoff.com quote the source as saying.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach is expected to be in the technical area for Matsatsantsa when SuperSport United face Platinum Stars on Saturday, September 13.

The match is set to kick-off at 18:00.
