SuperSport, Wits in for Mphela

Cape Town - Just days after being given his clearance by Kaizer Chiefs, striker Katlego "Killer" Mphela will be looking for a new club in either BidVest Wits or his former employers SuperSport United.

Both teams are said to be very interested in the former Bafana Bafana talisman.

A source close to ‘Killer’ said that both teams are talking to the player’s representative.

He said that it won't take time before the former Mamelodi Sundowns striker has a new team.

"It was just unfortunate that he didn't make it at Chiefs because he is still a good striker and he can still make it in the PSL,” the source told Sport24.

“I think that's why SuperSport and Wits are interested in his services. It's just a matter of time before he signs for another team," the source observed.

Called for his comment, Mphela said it was not the right time to come out with a statement.

"I am on holiday. Let's talk when I’m back," Mphela said.
